This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which MyOrtho Companion (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the MyOrtho Companion mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.
Information Collection and Use
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information from users. However, in order to provide app functionality including notification delivery, we may collect anonymized technical data such as device identifiers (e.g., device tokens) used exclusively for the transmission of local or remote push notifications.
Such data is not linked to any personal identifiers, is stored securely, and is not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties except as required by applicable law.
Third-Party Services
The App may utilize third-party tools and services (such as Apple Push Notification service) for the sole purpose of supporting the app's functionality. These providers may have access to limited technical data necessary to perform their function but are bound by contractual and/or legal obligations to maintain data confidentiality and security.
Data Retention
Non-identifiable device tokens are retained solely for the duration necessary to facilitate push notification functionality. Data is regularly purged and is not retained beyond the scope of its functional use.
Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures designed to safeguard data under our control. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and as such, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
MyOrtho Solutions reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
